Our next project was a typical Tamil Wedding which was shot at Gobichettipalayam, a small village near Erode. It was an outdoor sequence coupled with an authentic, traditional, Tamil Temple Wedding. The Groom, Durai was a gem of a person. He welcomed us like a family and cared for us like a brotherly friend. He was jovial and humorous too. We were very happy to be associated with such a nice family. The Bride, Nithya was a humble Tamil girl with great insight for knowledge. The couple’s outdoor photo-shoot was shot in a manner where each and every photo were captured with bright colours of nature and shot at scenic landscapes. These gave the photos a touch of tradition and the culture of a typical Tamil wedding. The couple really blended with the beauty of the place and gave us some excellent shots during the photo-shoot. We were able to nourish and experience the various traditional foods and drinks of their region. We were treated as a part of their family for the few days that we spent there. We got close with each family member of the couple and felt like a home away from home. Both Durai and Nithya were delighted to work with us and we were extremely happy to have made some good friends from such a wonderful place.
